We will start the Orbiter Functional for CPT-2 on Friday, Jan 2 at 8:00am.

The man who comes back through the Door in the Wall will never be quite the same as the man who went out. He will be wiser but less sure, happier but less self-satisfied, humbler in acknowledging his ignorance yet better equipped to understand...Aldous Huxley, "The Doors of Perception"
Seems as if we have we’ve found some momentum. See attached for cartoon metaphor.
We are still working our way through the Orbiter Functional. Right now we are running the S-band Comm Check. Projected completion of the test is about 6pm.
That means that MRF Calibration should start around 7:30pm.
Configuration for MR #1 starts around 9:30pm
Start of MR #1 should happen around 12:30am
Run the MRF Hot Soak tests TC-167 thru TC-170.
We are waiting for the SAS to get to hot op balance. Hopefully it will be there when we finish the MRF testing.
After SAS is at balance, drive the ITP to Hot Soak temps.
Once ITP is at Hot Soak temps, run Ka functional (8hr) and then the S-band functional (6 hrs)
In parallel, we are waiting for LEND to get to Hot op balance, maybe around midnight?
Once LEND gets to balance, we will configure the chamber for Hot Soak.
Once LEND gets to hot soak, we can run the instrument testing.
You will note I put no times on anything. ;-) At the bottom of the blog is the updated schedule.
Here’s the status @ 4:15pm.
TC-126 Payload Functional 2:32a-9:25a
Dump SSR 9:25a-11a
TC-127 LAMP Functional 11a-12:03p
Star Tracker EEPROM Dump 12:06p -12:30p
TC-128 DLRE Functional 12:38p – 1:42p
TC-119 LOLA CPT # 7 1:58p – 4:09p
Note: The sim is earlier than on previous versions of the schedule because there's a 24 hour wait at the beginning of the transition. In reality, the whole transitions takes about 24 hours. As soon as we configure for transition we will begin Sim #30. There is a plan to move the MRF calibration to before the transition configuration. Sorry for the confusion.
